another update

so this is another sort of update, but no pictures. we are down in provo at the moment, which therefore means no pix. anyway, we're down here for the 4th of july and cuz we decided to go to 7 peaks water park today. it was a ton of fun, except for the fact that most of us got burned way bad. even laynie got a little bit of a sunburn. well tomorrow we are having a barbecue here at my grandma's, but hopefully tomorrow morning we will be going boating! some old friends of ours invited us, so that should be fun. laynie will most likely be staying here with her nana and grampa.
anyway, the reason for this post was to add a little bit more to my update of a few days ago. ok so quite awhile ago she started the dada dada dada stuff, and then a few weeks later she started the mama mama mama stuff. well now she's starting some new things. about a week ago she started pointing her finger. now she's also started talking when she points it, and believe me, it is simply adorable! but that's my girl, right?! just the other day she decided it was time to start pulling herself up, and she decided this in the... bath tub!! she kept trying to pull herself to standing, which she accomplished, the whole time she was in the tub. and then to top it all off, i was just about to pull her out of the tub when she decided she needed to poop! ugh, it was so disgusting! she has only done that two other times, once when she was really young (like her 2nd or 3rd bath), and once at about 5 months. gross! anyway on to the other exciting things. she can stand by herself for about 3-5 seconds, sometimes more if she's distracted. and then just today, she decided to walk along things. she will not do this for me at home. but today she walked along nathaneil's legs up to the couch, and then along the couch a bit too! i was so shocked when nathaneil told me, and so glad too. so in short, my little baby is no longer, and hasn't been for a while now, a little baby anymore! hopefully i'll be able to post pix soon! i still have a ton to share with everybody...
