still crazy

let's see... i left off with tuesday, so now on to wednesday. actually, come to think of it, we didn't do much that day. on thursday however, we went down to provo again. but first we went to the mall here in layton, and i got some new shirts. i got 4 shirts and all of them were $5, except one ($7). so needless to say, i had fun! anyway down in provo we just hung out at grandma's, had some ice cream, and laynie had some hugs for aunt cathy! she was being adorable (as usual) and loved playing with cathy.

on friday we went to cousin melissa's 1st birthday party. laynie was cracking us up during the cake and ice cream part by playing peek-a-boo with the tablecloth! melissa and laynie got matching dresses and looked oh so cute together so of course we took pictures of that!

here are the cuties! look how big laynie is compared to melissa! ok, so everyone knows how hard it is to get the baby to look at the camera, keep looking cute, and finally take the picture with the slow camera... well it's way harder with 2 kids! it took us forever to get a couple of good pictures!

saturday was a pretty busy day too. we went down to provo, (again!) and had laynie's pictures taken for her 10 months. she was cranky!! it was so hard to get her to smile, but when we did, she looked so cute. i'll post some of those pix tomorrow tho, cuz it's too late tonight! anyway, after pictures we were off to pleasant grove for a barbecue with some friends of ours that we've known for forever. we all had a blast, especially arik because there were lots of 'friends' to play with. laynie had fun chasing there little dog around, and they had one little step leading down to a playroom that she had fun going up and down. of course she decided to go down it head-first, but she had fun doing it!
well then of course today, sunday, we went to church which is always fun with a baby! she was fussy during sunday school and part of relief society, but then started playing with other kids in the back during the rest of relief society. the rest of the day she was really pretty fussy, but i think it's because she's trying to get her top front tooth (finally)!!
tomorrow we start swimming lessons, so that should be fun. i'll try to post pictures of that tomorrow too.
