our weekend

first of all, here are a few pix taken last week. she was watching mickey mouse and standing in her easter bucket. it was so funny! she would also sit down in the bucket, but i wasn't able to get a picture of her. she was being such a stinker!

on friday, than's day off, we just hung out at home for a while. then later we went down to provo again. while brian and nathaneil were playing with computer stuff, my aunt and i took laynie to get her pictures taken for easter/18 months. usually we get the really stupid and non-outgoing photographers, but this time we got a really good one! only problem was that laynie was kinda cranky. they could have been better if she would have been in a good mood, but we ended up with some good ones i think. we did some st. patrick's day ones, easter, and one in a fun dress that cathy bought. these were the bestest ones...

oh and while waiting for our turn with pictures, we went shopping. laynie got some new shoes!! they are so adorable, and she really likes shoes right now, so she's having fun with them!
yep, these are DC shoes! i've always wanted some, but laynie got them so it's all good! aren't they so cute?!

after pictures and then pizza at my grandma's house, than and i went to visit my friend riley. he and his wife just had their first baby, a little boy! he was such a cutie!! i can't wait for our little guy to come! well after visiting with them, we went back to grandma's and got some pj's on laynie, and then headed home. we got back late, around 11 i think, so that's all for that day. saturday morning than let me sleep in, and when i got up, he had waffles all ready! they were really good. i also had a relief society super saturday thing later. i had signed up to make a 'spring' craft, a bracelet for me and for laynie. well i did laynie's first, which turned out really cute, then went to start working on my letters. they took forever to sand, and then you have to paint them. well some other people borrowed my paint, so i only had enough to do 3 of my letters. but that's ok, cuz i know how to finish them, so i'll just get some more paint and finish it here. after i finish i'll post some pix, but here is one of laynie's bracelet (the dangly says 'hope')...

after that we went swimming! laynie loved it, mainly i think because daddy was there. i took her a few days ago, and she had fun, but she had more fun this time. we got a big tube to ride the waves, and she loved that. they also had some smaller tubes that she liked climbing in and walking around with. it was sooooo cute! now i'm really mad at myself for forgetting the camera! we'll do it again, and i'll make sure to get some pix and video's. that was about all for yesterday. today (sunday) was just a lazy day. we took late naps, had late dinner, and just got laynie to bed (it's almost 10:30). the time change is kinda messing laynie up, but we should be good in a couple of days. anyway, these pix are from nap time today. she fell asleep on her little play mirror, and this is what she looked like when i went in to check on her! such a silly girl.

one thing new with laynie... she will point to something and say 'what's that?' of course it doesn't really sound like that, it's more like "wha dat?" anywho, it's really cute! k, that's it for this post!
