yep, that's right, laynie now sleeps and naps in her big-girl bed! i got lucky once again, cuz she absolutely loves her new bed, and even stays in it (for now) during nap time. she is such a good girl and loves to go and play in her bed. we can be downstairs playing and she'll say "night night mommy" or "a bed mommy" and then she'll go upstairs and play on her bed for 5 minutes or so. it's so cute! however, she's starting to regress with the whole binky thing. she'll ask for it all day, and i'll say only when she goes night night. well then she asks to go night night... sometimes only an hour or so after she got up! crazy girl (ps... for the journal records, she's been sleeping in her big girl bed since thursday night (the 4th) ).

oh kisses! she loves to give kisses now. all we have to do is ask for one and she'll stop and give us one. after family prayer every night, that's the tradition. "give mommy hugs & kisses" then daddy, then ky, but not in that particular order!

i know i'm biased and prejudiced, but i have got the cutest kids ever!!!
thursday we went to pick daddy up and meet brooklyn and her parents at the zoo. well that day was the one day a year that they close early! but luckily they gave us a card for free entry next time we go. instead we went to the gateway mall where they have a rather fun museum (called discovery gateway). the girls had a blast!

yeah they both had a lot of fun playing on it, and when it was time to go, laynie started screaming... "copter, copter!!" she didn't want to get off.
yes, ky was there, just in the stroller still. i didn't feel like it was worth getting him out, seeings how he was asleep and all!
after the museum, we went to the splash pad area thingy to let brooklyn play. it was hilarious watching her! if the water would stop, she would look down at the hole, and then it would shoot up and spray her in the face! it was so funny. then when we were done with that, we went to the food court and had some dinner.
after the rest of the gateway adventure, on the way home, and 'shaking it' to our favorite song, "shake it"!!
