she had soooooo much fun! she was a little cautious at first (as always!) but then loosened up a little and had tons of fun playing.

she came and set this up all by herself. it's so fun to watch her play and learn! everytime laynie puts them at the table she says they are eating, it's so cute!

so on friday the 14th, we went down to slc for than's root canal. his tooth had been bothering him for the whole week so he finally went to the dentist. dentist said he needed a root canal. well than wakes up friday morning, and no toothache. so he calls the dentist, and he says that the nerve had died! than had been living on painkillers for a whole week, and then the day he goes to get it fixed, no more pain! anyway, so me and the kids got to sit in the reception area for an hour or so, then we headed down to provo. my friend kristin was getting sealed (congrats again kris!!!) so we wanted to be down there for that. my grandma and aunt cathy watched the chillin's (kids!) for us so that we could go to the endowment session with them friday night. it was nice to be able to go to the temple again, we haven't been since before ky was born. anyway the next morning was the sealing, and we got to go to that too. i love going to sealings! plus they had their two kids sealed to them, so that was fun and special to see. afterwards was a luncheon, plus her hubby jon was blessing their kids. laynie had fun running EVERYWHERE, meanwhile driving me crazy! well after that we headed up to slc so that than could help his mom. her old car had pretty much died, so she bought a new enclave! it is sooooo nice! she wanted than's help checking it out, and actually purchasing it, so we hung out at annalen's.

and then the next day was than's birthday! yep my old man hubby turned 29!
and yes, laynie opened most of his presents for him!
i got him a ds, the kiddies got him a game (the new super mario bros) and my mom got him chocolates and some much needed jeans! oh and then monday night we went out with dave and miquelyn to texas roadhouse, which is than's favorite restaurant. and they spoiled him! they got him guitar hero and mario kart for the ds, plus an awesome accessory kit! oh and the little turkey's paid for dinner!

yeah still than's bday, and i was mean and didn't fix than a nice big birthday breakfast :(

however i did make him some very yummy chicken enchiladas! and cathy and grandma bought than this really good and extremely rich chocolate cake! this was the last piece, so we decided to do the candle and sing.
and then laynie and i helped devour it of course!

WOW! What a busy weekend. Thanks for fitting us in. It was so fun to have you there. Your kids are so cute. Thanks again for coming down. We're planning on coming up probably after the first of the year. I'll let you know.
