so i just wanted to post real quick about some things laynie and ky have been doing...
*when laynie goes down for her nap and bedtime, we always read some books to her. well we've read the books in her room so many times, that now story time consists of her "reading" the books to us! it's soooo adorably cute, especially her 'teddy bear, teddy bear' book.
*the other day laynie would get her step stool and take it over to the light switch. she'd climb up and say "i climbing mommy!" then she would turn the light on/off and say "ta-da, there you go mommy". it was hilarious and oh so cute!
now on to ky:
*well i'll tell about the bad thing first. he's been sleeping thru the night for a few months now, but we have to keep him swaddled. when he sleeps, and he's got his hands free, he always ends up waking himself up. also, a few times a night he will wake up for no reason. luckily all we have to do is stick his binky back in his mouth, but still it's annoying to have to get up at all. well this morning was bad... he got his hands out of his blanket around 6 am, and proceeded to wake up every 20 minutes. well 8 o'clock rolls around, and laynie decides she has to get up and starts knocking on her door. well of course since i now have to be up, ky is ok sleeping for almost 2 MORE HOURS! he didn't wake up til 9:45, and i was so jealous!!
*ok now a cute good one... ky has got a major toe fetish going on! everytime i change his diaper, he immediately goes for his feet.
*also, when he's in the right mood, he is quite the giggler! he can be really cranky one second, then we start tickling him, and he's laughing up a storm. then of course the next minute he's cranky again, but oh well!
and finally i will leave ya with a couple of videos of laynie 'reading' her books...
