fun weekend #1

so i was going to post this last week, and it was going to be old then... but i obviously didn't get to it, so now it's really old news!! anyway, on thursday march 12 we went down to slc for... Disney on Ice- Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey. it was soooooo much fun! laynie loved seeing mickey and minnie the best, but she liked the rest of the show too. the pix didn't turn out very good, but i do have a few, and i have tons of videos i need to post!
well that day was actually our friend Dave's birthday, so the next night we took him and his wife out to dinner. it was way nice to go out... without the kids!! marcus and amelia were staying with us, so they watched the kids. we only went to dinner, at red robin, but it was still fun to get out and have fun with other adults and NO kids.
the weather was nice the next day, so we were outside playing. laynie and ky swinging, and the adults throwing a frisbee and football around. it was a really nice and fun weekend!

i really wanted to get her the tinker bell shirt... but they wanted $18 for it! so later after the show we got a slushy thing in a minnie mouse mug/cup.

later that night after dinner... bein' bucket heads! ky had one on too, but i didn't get a picture. he was being really cute with it tho (video coming soon), he would only talk when we put the bucket near his face or on his head!

finally getting over being sick! yay :)
