things i need to post about...

it feels like we've been running since my mom first got here. then i figured once she left it would slow down, and we'd be bored once again... apparently i was wrong!! here is a list of things we have done, and that i still need to post about:
June
*16th: my mom gets here late that night
*17th: Grandma Hinckley's birthday party down in Provo (my mom stayed there for the weekend)
*19th: train ride to Gateway mall. We met up with my mom, aunt, and grandma.
*21st: Father's Day- we went down to Provo, spent the day, then brought my mom back up with us.
*23rd: Ky's 1st birthday!!! what a fun day that was!! :) luckily i already posted about that
*24th: Our 4 year Anniversary! we went out to dinner at Red Lobster, then went to see Transformers 2... which we loved!!
*25th &26th: headed up to Logan for our anniversary getaway part 1. we went ice skating where nathaneil proposed! then the next day we were supposed to go to the temple but didn't make it, so we just headed home.
*29th: can you say sunburns?! we spent the day in our yard playing in our tiny inflatable pool. both me and my mom got some bad sunburns- however my mom's were only on her legs and lower arms, mine were on the tops of my thighs and my whole back! yeah didn't sleep very well for many nights! it totally sucked
July
*3rd: Ky's 1 year well check- already posted about that. after the dr, than and i headed back up to Logan for getaway part 2. we went to the yearly july 4th "cruise-in" car show... it was huge! and we had a blast there. later we had dinner, then went and watched fireworks. the next day we realized too late that the temple would of course be closed seeings how it was the...
*4th: a holiday! so instead we went back to the car show for a bit, then went back home. we had our own little barbecue, then did some fireworks and sparklers. then we went & found a place to watch the good fireworks. Laynie did pretty good this year, and even enjoyed the firework show for the most part ;) Ky did really well and seemed to really like them. he was clapping all thru our fireworks, and the big firework show! it was really cute :)
*6th: we went to the Hill Aerospace Museum... we've been wanting to go for a while because we knew laynie would love it. well we knew arik would love it too, so we made sure to fit it in before they left. and of course they loved it! that evening we did the rest of our fireworks, and laynie is still asking us every night if we get to do more!
*7th: train ride to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. than picked us up at the train station, we went to the temple (which was way beautiful!), then than dropped us back off at the train station. that evening after nathaneil got home from work, we went swimming. after swimming we went home and had dinner, then we went out for ice cream!! yeah, that was one busy day!
*8th: we spent the day down in Provo. my mom wanted to spend a few more days down there, so me and the kids headed back home that night without her.
*10th: mom was still down in provo, and we got to go boating! than's friend from work invited a few families, and we had a blast! ky and laynie loved the boat, but they especially loved playing in the sand :) later that day after long naps and baths, we went and got ky's 1 year pictures taken.
*11th: our last day together... we just hung out and relaxed in the morning. that afternoon we went to get arik's picture taken, but he clammed up and wouldn't cooperate :( a couple of hours later we had to leave them at the airport, which was awful! :( :(
*14th: our neighbor Eric ended up getting some coupons for lagoon, and he invited us to use them (he already had a season pass). the coupons were amazing- $10 per person!! it is regularly like $45! it was a ton of fun, and laynie is still talking about it and wanting to go back. the cool thing... we can bounce back for only $9 each!
*15th: we went to the zoo with some of my friends! usually this is a fun thing for us... however on the way down, ky decides to throw up all over his carseat. so i'm trying to clean it up, and i try to tell laynie we aren't going to the zoo. she has a cow!! "i go to zoo mommy!" i felt bad because i'd already told her we were going, but at the same time i didn't have another outfit for ky. i ended up stopping at walmart, going in with a mostly naked child (i totally felt white trash!), and finally getting to the zoo. yeah we finally get there, and then ky is extremely cranky the whole time!! and no he didn't have the stomach flu, i think he just gets car sick :( so all in all, it wasn't a totally fun trip, except that i got to see my friend Emilee who lives in CA!
*17th: my same friend Emilee, and her sister Kristin, had an extra ticket to the George Strait concert and invited me!! we had soooo much fun... 1st we went to Cheesecake Factory, then the concert, which started at 7:30 with Julianne Hough. next up was Blake Shelton, who was awesome! he was funny, and sang the 'free credit report' song! it was hilarious. and last was of course George Strait... he was amazing! well the concert ended about 11 pm... i didn't get home until 1:30 am!! it took forever to get out of the parking lot, and then back to Cheesecake where i left my car ;) oh well, it was fun, and way worth it! Thanks Kris and Em, i had a blast!
18th: tonight we got our 1st babysitter! i know, it took me awhile ;) anyway, we got the babysitter and went to... HARRY POTTER!!! we both LOVED it! i definitely recommend it :)

now i'd like to say that we are done being busy, but this is what we are supposed to be doing next week:
*we need to bounce back to lagoon!! it only lasts until the 26th, so sometime this week we will hopefully go again :)
*on the 23rd, nathaneil & i are going to Kenny Chesney!! i'm waaaaaaay excited for it :)
*the weekend of the 24th there is a rodeo down in spanish fork that i want to go to. i think laynie would enjoy it, and she's got the cowgirl boots for it!
*and of course, July 24th... i have no idea what we're doing for it, besides fireworks!!

k, now i've told you all about everything... now i just need to put pictures up!! too bad that's not gonna happen right now, it's already midnight!! maybe tomorrow?!
