fun weekend

well we have had a busy but fun weekend. on friday night we went out to dinner, and then to target for a little christmas shopping.

'got my daddy!'

saturday we got to go to a festival sort of thing. they had free food, and a free concert- ryan shupe and the rubberband!! it was sooooo much fun. i love the rubberband, they have the best concerts just because they have such a good time up on stage! anyway, afterwards we went home to get ready for our ward halloween party!

they are awesome! if you have the chance to see them, do it!!

of course laynie was being piglet, but nathaneil and i had a hard time deciding what to be. he found his cap and gown, so he went as a graduate. and i went as... cinderella!! i have a blue dress from college, already had my hair up in clips, so i figured i'd be cinderella. we had a great time at the party. laynie got us some candy, i mean her some candy :)! she got to go trunk-r-treating, but she didn't have much fun with that. after that we ate chili, and then had donuts! while i was sitting at the table (and nathaneil was chasing laynie around) this mom walked up. her little girl was holding her hand, and she says to me, "my daughter is convinced you are the real cinderella, and she wanted to come say hi"!! how cute is that?! and later when they were leaving, the little girl calls to me "bye cinderella"! she was so adorable!

so i made it thru the party just fine, but later that night my cold took a turn for the worse. i could hardly breathe, my nose was so stuffed up, and i was getting a cough. next morning (sunday) i feel like crap!! i got up to do laynie's hair so that she could go to church with daddy, then i went right back to bed! i was so sick, and felt it all over, that i slept til like 3 that afternoon. but today i am mucho times better!!
