new things

so, i remembered some of the new things i was going to write about. the first thing, she's figured out how to burp. ok, she's always burped, but now she knows when she's doing it. for example- today she burped really big and i said 'wow, that was a big burp' and she just smiles at me. well a few seconds later she "burps" again. not a real one, just a fake one. i looked over at her, she's smiling a huge smile, and i couldn't help but laugh.
another thing she does is say 'mmm, yummy' when she's eating. although she says it with an 'm' instead, so it comes out 'mmm, mummy'! it's so funny, i love it! seriously, every time we sit down and eat, the first bite is either just 'mmm' or 'mmm mummy'!
we're always calling her a pretty girl, you know, cuz she is and everything. well i'm pretty sure she's started saying it too! a few times she's pointed to something and said pretty (obviously not like that), and tonight we were looking at the sunset. she pointed out the window and said it! she is such a little smarty pants!
the other day we were outside. i was a little chilly so i folded my arms. next thing i know, i look at laynie, she's smiling and copying me! she was folding her arms and she thought she was being pretty funny copying me. so we've been trying harder at dinner to get her to fold her arms, and she does! tonight she did really well, and folded them almost right away.
k, i remembered the new things, so now i'm happy. i only have this one new picture, and it is of this morning. she was just chillin' watching her cartoons, i think it was "super why" on pbs...
