stuff, the zoo, more stuff

okey dokey... so we had some fun this weekend. on saturday we went down to slc to go to the hogle zoo with grandma wilkerson and annalen and her kids. laynie did better with it this time than she did last time, although her favorite thing was to run away from us! it was cute, but got frustrating pretty quick. so even though it was raining, we still had a good time. afterwards we went to grandma wilkerson's apt and had lunch. later, than helped grandma with a new webcam and then we headed home. that evening aunt amelia and uncle marcus came to visit. than was helping amelia rebuild her computer, so they came down to get it. they spent the night and went to church with us the next day. we got to enjoy their company all day sunday, so that was a lot of fun. before they left we made some pumpkin cookies! yum... monday i was just going to stay home, but decided to go back down to slc to help annalen out for the day. we got home around 9:30, laynie had already fallen asleep, so we got to go to bed early! k, i think that's it!!

here i finally got a picture of laynie playing with her new toy from cathy and brian. she's got it all figured out!

i missed it, but she just gave her teddy bear a kiss!

so new stuff with laynie... she loves to hug her stuffed animals, and she just started giving them kisses! oh and she'll also give them a kiss then hand it to me to kiss too! its too cute. she says 'uh-oh' now, along with 'hi' 'mommy' and 'daddy', so she's doing pretty well with her vocabulary. she blows kisses, and its soooo cute. she also gives hi-fives! i haven't really been trying to teach her much sign language, but the other day i tried getting her to do 'more', and she did it!! its so adorable! um... oh yeah, i tell her a lot to go find daddy but she never does. this time tho, i said "where's daddy?" and she turned and looked around, then took off to go find daddy! cute cute... all right, i think i'm done...
