february already?!

so once again it's been quite awhile since my last post, but this time i have an excuse. i've been extremely busy since february started. on the 2nd we had a fun day down in slc, going to boondocks fun center to celebrate aimee finishing her chemo. there we played arcades, lazer tag, and drove go-karts. after that we went to annalen's for cake and ice cream to celebrate all the february birthdays. laynie had a blast thru it all, although she was cranky from missing her nap. on the 3rd, laynie and i headed out to california. sounds like fun, right? it would've been tons of fun, except that we were going for my grandpa's funeral. it was sad, but i know he's in a better place and free from all his health problems. laynie loved the wonderful weather, as did i. but to make sure we knew the trip wasn't a vacation, she decided to get the stomach flu! luckily it was just a 24 hr bug, but it was hard on both of us, nonetheless. she got better just in time to fly home on friday the 8th, and is now sick with a cold! poor little girl. and then yesterday, than's buddy dave ended up being down in provo, so we went down to visit him and didn't get home til after 11 last night. so yes, i think i can be excused this time for not posting in awhile!
