alright, so i'm finally posting about why i haven't been posting! well at the beginning of the month i was busy getting ready for than's family to come and visit. it started when his bro from pennsylvania arrived for their mom's graduation. solon and malissa got here apr 29th. that day, we went to lunch then over to their sister annalen's house to visit. after that, we headed back up to layton, while solon & malissa stayed in slc for a get-together with some friends. after that they came up to layton, picked us up, and we all headed up to logan together to stay at their other sister's house (amelia). anyway, the next day (wed) we hung out in logan for awhile, and solon and amelia both happened to get wii's that day! after dinner we went back down to layton and stayed the night there. on thursday we puttered around our house for a bit, then went down to slc. than's mom had paid for hotel rooms for their whole family! she's got 9 kids, so that's 9 rooms plus her own! but it was a lot of fun, except for the fact that laynie did not sleep very well at all! the next day, friday, was the big day. graduation, luckily, wasn't very long. laynie slept thru most of it, and then the last 15 min that she was awake for, she just snacked. after graduation we went to annalen's house for amanda's son's baby blessing and for a graduation party. we were there for quite awhile, then went back up to layton. that night we had solon & malissa, amelia & marcus, and amanda, russ, and their 3 kids all staying with us! let me tell you, it was a full house! but also a ton of fun! saturday was the day solon & malissa had to leave, so everyone else did also. after that we didn't really do a whole lot for the rest of the day. on sunday we got to travel a little bit more! we went down to provo for another baby blessing, this time on my side. so then after that we went to my grandma's house and had dinner there. we stayed for a few hours then headed back up to our house! finally, our crazy weekend was over! all that next week i kept thinking i needed to post, but i really wasn't feeling it, so i didn't! whew! i think that's enough blah blah blah for now... here are all of may's pix so far.

it was really late, and she hadn't had a good nap, so yes she was way tired! also if you look close you can see the scratches on her face. she fell off the curb into the parking area while we were at amelia's apartment.
