laynie & all her cuteness

i cannot believe how quickly my laynie boo is growing up! in exactly one month from today she will be TWO YEARS OLD!!!! my baby isn't a baby! she's quite the parrot actually, and it makes for some pretty funny stories! i'll share a few of those stories in just a minute. first i have to brag... she knows all the letters in the alphabet, she can count to 5 and sometimes all the way up to 9, she knows some shapes (circle, square, triangle, star, and heart), some colors (pink, purple, yellow, green, blue, red, white, and orange...some more than others), and she likes to copy things we say. for instance:
i was talking to nathaneil, and he was being a bit of a dork (my terms of endearment include nerd and dork!!). so laynie is sitting there and i tell her to say daddy dork... guess what, she does!! ha ha it was sooooo funny. now anytime i call than a dork, she says "daddy nork" and then kinda laughs to herself!
the other day, i was being a bit dumb and told nathaneil about it. he turns to laynie and says "mommy's crazy." what does she say?...
"daddy crazy"!! it was hilarious, then she continues on:
"mommy crazy"
"naynie crazy"
"nana crazy"
"arik crazy"
"micky crazy"
yeah i called my mom and told her about it, and she thought it was the cutest thing ever! which it is!
oh another thing she likes to do now... i was calling down to nathaneil. the first time i said than, the 2nd time i yelled honey. she was standing next to me and yells down "honey"! yeah, so i yelled down a 3rd time (i swear he's going deaf!), this time it was "daddy"!!
