bye-bye binky and other fun stuff!

well since the kiddies are napping, i decided i would post real quick. of course now that i'm posting i don't remember everything i was going to say! don't worry, they will come to me, but in the meantime enjoy some pix!

ok, this is the work of my 2 year old genius/artist! yeah most of you are probably saying, "umm it looks like 2 yr old scribbles to me"... well it's not! to me it looks like a stick figure, then i asked her what it was and she said it was "daddy"! she is such a smarty pants artist!!!

wearing her new boots... new boots that are for church and around the house only, cuz i don't want them getting icky!!

k i remembered... laynie is now binky free! thursday night (nov 6) was the last night she used her binky. when she woke up, we went in and she had bitten a hole in it. this was the 2nd binky she'd done that to, the other one got a hole the day before! anyway, since she was biting holes in them we decided it was time to get rid of them. nap time that day was fine, although she did wake up a bit cranky. that night we put her in bed, she cried for her binky (whined is really more accurate) for about 5 minutes, then she went to sleep. as of today, so far so good! we're keeping our fingers crossed!
now the little ky man... he is a major hand chewer! he can get fussy, try to shove his fist further into his mouth, and then cry like we hurt him when we take his hand out to put his binky in! he is such a goofball! oh and he can get almost all of his fist into his mouth! i don't have a picture yet, but hopefully i'll get one soon!
and the last thing... we are going on the Heber Valley Railroad this year on the POLAR EXPRESS! i'm sooooo excited. we wanted to go last year, but it was expensive, and laynie was still a bit young. but right now laynie is loving trains, so we decided to splurge a little and go this year! yay!
