laynie sayings

so laynie has become quite the chatter box lately, which makes for some rather amusing conversations. there were so many funny conversations that i had to start writing them down, and here they are! and yeah, ya kinda had to be there, but they are still funny!

*to ky: "what's wrong? calm down baby ky!"

*everytime she heard the text msg sound on my phone she'd say, "what's that?!" and get all excited!

*the other day i was blowing up a balloon:
L-"what you doing mommy?"
M- "I'm blowing up a balloon."
L- "oohhh, a balloon!"

*M-"should we go get daddy a present?"
L-"daddy? a present?"
M-"yeah, should we go get daddy a present?"
L-"uh-huh!!" (nodding vigorously)

*M/D-"just take a drink laynie"
L-"ookaaay" (it sounded like an 'okaaay, if i have to'!!)

*on our way back from swimming she was talking to her ducky tube...
L-"a home, a pizza ducky?"
Ducky-"quack quack quack" (sounds courtesy of laynie of course)
L-*smoooooch* "kisses for ducky!"

*"no lola... einstein's!! a einstein's! oh no, amote? are you?!" (translation: she didn't want to watch lola, she wanted to watch einstein's. when i didn't change it right away, cuz i was putting socks on her, she said, 'remote? where are you?')

*to ky: "hey buddy, you ok?"!!

*M- "laynie come eat"
L- jibber jabbers something about shoes (she was in her room playing with her shoes)
M- "laynie, where are you?"
L- "coming mommy!" that one was way hilarious!

*trying to give ky his binky
L- "here you go baby ky"
K- puts fist in mouth
L- "no!" (tries to get the binky untangled and into his mouth and his fist out)
K- puts fist in mouth
L- "no baby ky! binky!"

*calls baby ky handsome... i call him that all the time.

~and this is just something cool she did. i told her she had to clean up her toys off the coffee table before she could play with her puzzle. at first she just tried throwing them on the floor, but then she actually picked everything up and put them all away- 1 at a time!
