yay for me!

ok i still have another post to do before i'm all caught up on feb pix, but i had to post this instead...

I am going to the Kenny Chesney concert this summer!!!!!!! i am soooooooo excited, and now all i have to do is wait. it's not til july 23rd, but tickets went on sale today, so i went ahead and got them! and it's not going to be just kenny... Sugarland, Miranda Lambert, and Lady Antebellum will be there too! to say i'm way excited is actually a huge understatement!!!!!!

now for a few cute laynie-isms:
*today when i was trying to purchase the tickets, i was getting very frustrated, and so unfortunately i kept saying 'CRAP!' well then laynie comes down.. "what's wrong mommy? crap! crap! oh crap!" and then she starts laughing! yeah whoops... so then i calmed down and told her mommy was saying bad words, and we don't say crap!
*when she's being naughty or just really awnry (i don't know how to spell that!), she gets sent to her room. well yesterday she was playing with her 'CARS' cars. she had chick hicks in her hand and says "you go to your room and be happy"! she then proceeds to put him in her room and leaves him there for a while. then she goes back and gets him and then says "he's happy now"! it was sooo cute and funny!
* everytime we put jeans on her we tell her to suck in (cuz her belly is a bit big and we don't want to pinch her!). she would never do it... until recently. now everytime we put her jeans on, she does it without us even asking!

ky stuff:
the only thing i can really think of for ky is this- he holds his bottle all by himself!!!! finally, or at least thats what it feels like! he started doing it on tuesday, but was able to do it really well on wednesday the 18th! go ky bear!!

and one last thing... i just have to say how much i love my little family. my kids are both wonderful and adorable, ky's instant smile everytime i see him, and laynie's hilarious antics and phrases. i love you both so much and i love having you in our lives and family... life definitely wouldn't be the same without you two!! and of course my wonderful husband! i wouldn't be able to get thru a week without him and his thoughtfulness. as soon as he gets home from work he's helping with the kids. i feel bad sometimes, but he does it without complaint. also, if not for my amazing hubby i wouldn't be going to the kenny chesney concert! thank you sooooooo much! i love you!
