stuff

so, long time no type... at least that's how it feels. we really haven't been d0ing that much since the last post, but then again, i have a one year old so i'm always doing something. laynie is definitely growing up, and way too quickly i might add! she does the funniest things these days... like talking on the phone, she just loves it! it really doesn't even have to be a phone, it can be a paper or just her hand, but she'll hold it up to her ear and say hi... so cute. lets see, she is also loving to walk, swing outside, play with the window blinds, and play with her shoes. she's definitely a momma's girl in the shoe area!! she's really gotten into this waving thing, she loves to wave bye-bye and she'll wave and say hi. oh and when she watches her baby einstein she almost always dances to it, it's so fun to watch. we've finally gotten the stairs down, i hope! she can go up and down them just fine, and will even go without me. although when it's too quiet, its time for me to investigate! she also has this thing with throwing her toys. she'll go over to her bin and just start picking stuff out of it and chucking it. then when she's tired with that, sometimes she'll put it all back. i think that's most of the new stuff with her... this last week has been pretty laid back, thankfully. last night we tried going up ogden canyon to get some good pictures of the trees with all their pretty leaves, but we only got one good pic. hopefully this weekend or some time soon, we'll be able to go up again and get some more pictures, and maybe some leaves too! i think thats all, so here are some pictures...

these first few are kinda old, but with her birthday and all, i haven't been able to post them... this is a snowman diaper cover thing, it's really cute and i had just found it again, so we thought we would try it on her!

this was one of her new birthday outfits, from nana!! it was soooo adorable... but this is what happens when you give a one-year-old girl a comb! (and i'm serious, she did that all by herself!) it's kinda like 'when you give a mouse a cookie!'

you can't really tell, but those are snowflakes falling in front of me!! yes last saturday it snowed for the first time in the valley! and its supposed to snow again this weekend, woohoo, we love snow!! oh yes, and of course my little dolly standing at the door, hoping to come outside. she loves being outside!

ok, so we saw this truck on the way to the canyon, so we decided to stop on our way back. it's for sale and i really want it!! it's soooo awesome!
